Significance of Theories

The majority of citizens in our society would believe theorists such as Freud and Darwin are filled with imagination. Little to their knowledge do they know that theorists are the individuals who set the ideas and answers to our respected stand point of view? The definition of a theory is, a set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena.
