The song "Ripple", by Robert Hunter, uses heavy symbolism and challenges people to be individuals and follow their dreams on the road less traveled. Everyday people are cruising down the simple highway at top speed, they're too afraid of failing to follow their dreams, so they stay on the reliable route. It isn't until after its too late that they regret not pursuing their dreams . In, "Ripple", Hunter warns listeners of "the simple highway", he encourages fans to take the "road less traveled", he does warn that it may not be the most glorious route, but it's your only chance at achieving your dreams, and therefore true happiness.…
