Request for a Traffic Signal to Be Placed at an Intersection

Cost estimates to install our proposed traffic signal are quite expensive. My research also shows that various organizations contribute to the cost of installing traffic signals in their respective areas especially when they are instrumental in acquiring the traffic signal. The city is responsible for paying the remaining portion of the expenses. Often times, a contract is negotiated for determining how much each entity will pay. As stated in the problem statement, Residents living in Edgewood Apartments are prepared to collect and donate $25,000 to the construction of the traffic signal.
My fellow residents and I are terribly concerned with the traffic conditions on Union St. around our living areas. We fear that the problem will only get worse.
