The statement suggests that individuals have the entitlement to choose when and how they should die. I agree with the statement because I believe in self-determination. I will give reasons for my point of view whilst considering another view point; will refer to Christianity and Islam.
I agree with the statement because it is their life and they should have the right to decide for themselves whether they want to live or die, however, the doctor would disagree with the statement because; they have signed a Hippocratic Oath, which makes it impossible for doctors to practice euthanasia and it is illegal to carry out euthanasia in this country.
