When studying the bible the New Testament can be very complicated to interpret. The message of the bible is to show Gods kingdom. Jesus teaches us how to live our lives the way God wanted. In the book "Jesus the Christ" by Thomas Zanzig he shows us the portrait of Jesus life and who he was. He gets into a better understanding on how to get the complete message Jesus was showing us.
One of the questions most Christians ask is "Who is Jesus?" answering this question is not easy. Luke answers this with this scripture "Once when Jesus was praying alone, with only the disciples near him, he asked then who do the crowds say that I am? They answered John the Baptist; but others, Elijah; and still others that one of the ancient prophets has arisen. He said to them, but who do you say I am?
