A hobby is a spare-time recreational pursuit and something that one does for pleasure. There are different kinds of hobbies: doing things, makings things, collecting things and learning about things. There are hobbies for indoors and outdoors. Hobbies are practiced for interest and enjoyment, rather than financial reward. Examples include collecting, creative and artistic pursuits, making, tinkering, sports and adult education.
