In the recent part this market wasn’t considered as a significant area. However following the development tendencies of Balkan market, it is noticeable that the market has changed- the consumer purchasing power has increased, there is stabilization in economics and development, and many new companies are turning their heads towards it. For MNC it is a considerable market because of the low wages, acceptable real estate prices, low tax rates, well educated labor force and increase of disposable income of inhabitants. The world economic crisis is changing these dynamics, but still MNC could find opportunities there. Many medium and small sized companies are experiencing tough times now. The investment in these companies or buying them off could be one of the opportunities for starting a business there.
