Endangered Species: Vaquitas

Donate and support conservators. Many organizations are collecting funds to help aid conservation. For example ‘’Save the Vaquita’’ is just one of many that are gathering donations to supply fishermen with safer nets that, ones that porpoise can easily get out of. There are countless organizations that require donations to help marine life there. (WWF)
The vaquita is a unique animal, and an important predator. We don’t know what consequences its disappear would have for entire ecosystem. Its decline is man-made and its extinction entirely preventable. The vaquita isn’t the only marine mammal in trouble, nor would it be the first to go to extinct in recent years. We must not allow for a second species of cetacean to become extinct in our lifetime.
