In my family, we recycle. I think my mom is already sick of me always pestering her to recycle. We also try not to use plastic bags, but rather paper or fabric ones. We have energy effective light bulbs installed everywhere in the apartment. We have our own vegetable garden, so in summer we try to not buy vegetables from the store. If we do, we get them from the farmer’s market. I think we are pretty eco-friendly.
I know that each and every one of us can do so much for the environment, but we’re just lazy and the government does not care. The forests that are state- owned could be cleaned so easily, but they use the money for who knows what instead. We need more protests for the environment rather than debating over obvious things- like whether or not all schools should teach in the national language.
