CONCLUSION
The human brain itself, the essence of being, can be regarded as the ultimate technology. It's capabilities cetainly far exceed those of anything within our reach of creating ourselves. The intricacy and complexity of interconnection allows the fairly similar units, the neurons, to convey unique patterns of connections. Technology is defined as a capability given by the practical application of knowledge, and the human brain fully encompasses this concept. Entrenched connections can represent existing science; an established thought process could be compared to a textbook of facts for example. To continue the metaphor, a pioneering method of thinking - an algorithm for example, could represent a tool for furthering the existing knowledge; this could be compared to a specific machine for example. This concept represents technology. In this way, the brain shows us that both technology and knowledge cannot exist in the absence of eachother, and the existence of one enhances the other.
