This essay has shown many threats that company and employees can face while using personal devices for work. BYOD policy has many issues, it is hard to protect company’s data and achieve certain level of privacy for employees. However, despite all the challenges BYOD policy can bring, it gives a lot of benefits to both, company and employee. One of the most significant benefits is that workers does not have to switch between different devices for work and personal life. Second benefit is that, company does not need to spend extra money for buying special hardware or devices for employees to work.
