Some trends are inevitably unforgettable, even when people and times are evolving. The hairstyle of the "mullet" holds true as an un-phased, excellent example. It originated, some believe, in the early 80's with hard rock bands such as Def Leppard, but many, including myself, have noticed the appearance of the blatant hairstyle long before the decadent reign of 80's culture.
