Although both Protestants and Roman Catholics share the common ground of being founded upon faith in Jesus Christ, there have been a lot of heated discussions between these religious groups. There are more differences that can be cited because both: Roman Catholics and Protestants fight for what they believe is right and true. The basic difference between them is the authority they look to for their beliefs. The Protestants generally embrace the Bible as its sole source of authority and faith, while the Roman Catholics view the post-biblical traditions of the church and its Popes to have more than equal authority with scripture. …
