This furnace allowed people to warm their homes less dangerously and with less wood.
<Tab/>The second most influential thing that Franklin did was being a political figure in American History. During the French and Indian War in 1754~1763, Franklin did many things to contribute help to the American army. Benjamin assisted the British commanding officer, General Braddock, with military advice and with the moving of supplies. When Benjamin warned General Braddock about the possibility that the Native Americans might resort to guerilla tactics, including ambushes and surprise attacks, the General did not listen to his advice. Because General Braddock did not take Benjamin's advice he suffered a great defeat at Fort Duquesne. With no other alternatives, the Pennsylvanian people relied on Benjamin Franklin for help. …
