Forbidden Territory: Stanley’s Search for Livingstone, launched by Simon Langton in 1997, is a film provided with a good story line and excellent acting that not only takes us through the adventure of two great personalities but also gives a good background and insight into history of courageous explorers to Africa.
The scene opens with Stanley and his crew wandering through the hot and severe continent of Africa in their search for the lost David Livingstone. Throughout the wonderings the crew goes through different trials and hardships that make some ill, some die, but some get beaten to death for disobeying the commander’s orders. Livingstone brings a change to Stanley’s life who, after their spent time together, heals his memories of the past and promises Livingstone to do everything what is in his strength.…
