Sleep deprivation happens when your body doesn’t get enough sleep
It’s estimated adults should sleep about 8 hours a day
You can actually build up «sleep debt», for example, if you lose 2 hours of sleep every day for a week, at the end of the week you will have a 14 hour sleep debt

The main symptom of ongoing sleep loss is excessive daytime sleepiness, but other symptoms include regular yawning, constantly being in a bad mood, lack of concentration and motivation, clumsiness and similiar.
