If a person feels that a product is immoral, then he simply shouldn't purchase it. That is the correct way to voice your opinion about a product or corporation. If enough people boycott the same product, the company, which produces it, will pull that particular product and change direction. Back in the 1960s, during the civil rights movement, the majority of African Americans in Montgomery, Alabama boycotted public transportation because they objected to the seating segregation within the system. Buses lost massive amounts of money due to the boycott. They became virtually empty. Ultimately, public transportation realized its product, the bus service, was not making enough money to thrive or even survive. So like any other thinking corporation, the bus system changed. The system began to allow African Americans to sit wherever they wanted. This is a perfect illustration of boycotting. The way to get a business to change its ways is to boycott. In this case, the boycott of the buses produced the desired results. For that reason, actions speak louder than words.…
