The first lines Tybalt had to say immediately brings out his personality to the audience. He says: "look upon thy death," to Benvolio, even though Benvolio had said to stop fighting and put their weapons down. Tybalt is the kind of person that thinks war is the best solution to all of his problems because, since he is a good fighter, he knows that he has a good chance of winning the war, thus making all his problems go away.
