Scout - In the beginning of the book Scout is an innocent, good hearted 5 year old child who has no experience with the evil in the world.
She then learns about courage, kindness and the importance of doing what is right. She learned from her father and her neighbors that doing what is right isn't always rewarded, but it's the right thing to do. Scout gets a lot of knowledge from Jem as well.
