The main attractions are: Christ Church College, Ashmolean Museum, The University Church of St Mary the Virgin, Botanic Gardens, Oxford Castle and Magdalen College.

The first tourist attraction I will write about is Christ Church College. It is grandest of all Oxford Colleges. Christ Church College was founded in 1524 by Cardinal Wolsey. It was refounded in 1546 by King Henry VIII because Wolsey fell from grace. When Henry established the bishopric of Oxford, the priory church of St Frideswide became at once college chapel and diocesan cathedral. Christ Church is the only college chapel in the world that is also a cathedral. …
