Genetically Modified Organisms

Nowadays the use of terms”genetically modified food” and”genetically modified organisms” has become more and more common. The initial period of the experiments of genetic engeneering is considered the begining of 1970s, when the first genetically modified organisms were created. However, people have been manipulating with gene pools since the start of agriculture and animal husbandry over 10,000 years ago.
Since the population is growing much faster than expected to feed all the people and thus prevent famine more and better food is needed.…
