The "Hal Hotline" is also an invitation to constructive criticism. Indeed an employee who'll want to talk to the CEO will have to be sure his comments serve the interests of the organization and are consistent otherwise he'd loose credit in the eyes of the top management.
Employees are trained to make use of their creativity right from the start. The two-days trip to the headquarters of each new recruit allows them - through their first contact with the organization - to learn how to ponder over their environment and be innovative in the recommendations they make.
The 360 degree evaluation is a way to have every manager rethink his/her behavior and try to improve it based on what his subordinates, colleagues or supervisors say. Not only has the manager to know how to make good use of these remarks but also the people who make them constantly have to question their day-to-day working habits in order to be able to judge them and evolve.
