Movie review - Sicko

Sicko is the title of a political documentary film directed by Michael Moore. The movie was released on June 29 at Cannes festival 2007, where the audience gave it a standing ovation for about 15 minutes.
Michael Moore became popular with such movies as Fahrenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine. These movies are scandalous, shocking and critical about the government of the United Sates of America. Sicko is not an exception – the movie presents a compelling case against health maintenance organizations in the USA. Writer and producer Michael Moore interviews Americans who have been denied treatment by the American health care insurance companies - companies who sacrifice essential health services in order to have a higher income.
