Conclusion
The hockey world still acknowledges NHL as the number one professional league in the world, but it is clear that the newly formed KHL is the number one competitor. Thanks to the new regulations by the IIHF and the newly signed memorandum the future looks bright for KHL. The issues mentioned in this paper are significant because there were no such problems in the past. The formation has given a new turn in hockey development, and hopefully these cases will be a good precedent so that in the future cases like Radulov and Hudler would not happen again. Of course there will be disagreements between both these leagues, because both have talented players and money, which always is the main factor for any conflict, but for now they have settled there disputes. As the Stanley cup playoffs will start in just a few days, and Ak Bars Kazan has won the Gagarin cup again we have to get ready for an interesting summer of hockey transfers.
