Regarding the non-education interest groups, businesses haven’t closed, only for an extremely short period which means that parents had to work plus take care of their kids’ education as well. This posed a crucial problem for the system to be solved, because it’s clear that most of the adults cannot just replace real teachers.
My final, humble opinion is that our system must be modernised as quickly as possible. Even though, we achieved successes after a year, this is still not enough and we must focus on the other regions of the country too. The e-learning sphere will still probably remain for a while thus the aforementioned process is inevitable. I would also implement surveys made for young students to ask for their opinions and preferences and act according to those. Mixing these thoughts with the ones of academics would be uplifting.
I’m sure the issues caused by COVID can be solved but it’ll require open-mindedness from all sides.
