The Role of Women in Politics and Economics of the Country

At present situation in women coexistence in Latvia is right enough, even very good.
In politics situation is promising, because women hold very high offices. Some examples: president of the country – Vaira Vike-Freiberga, minister of health – I. Circene, minister of welfare – D. Stake, foreign Secretary – S. Kalniete, chair-person of parliament – I. Udre.
In economics situation is similar. In business world work many women. They are presidents of many successful establishments.…
