And this year, the worst book of the year goes to ..... The Chrysalids by John Wyndham, for the 10th year in a row! (Look up) Various people have really enjoyed this novel, however, I despised it. At first, there weren't any events, action or even a plot. The author spent about 75%, and I mean 75%, of the book explaining the setting, the lies David, the main character, has to tell everyday to conceal his power and the ideas racing through his mind everyday.
