Conclusion:
Challenge in leadership derives from dream of changing and innovation and also the difficulties which organization encounters in the period of time. Challenge means risk taking as well as opportunities to change or innovate. With the greatness that challenge can bring, leaders are encouraged to take risk and make changes by searching for opportunities, experiment new things, etc. Failure may occur during the process but it doesn't mean that they are lost. In contrast, they are learning from practical experience and storing valuable lessons for themselves. Risk taking is encouraged but is it true that every risk is possible to take? Before taking any challenge, we should recognize whether it contains high risk or low risk and then have decision. Intelligent risk taking still depends on the ability of perceiving situations of leaders. Is it necessary to take risk or make changes? No one denies that risk taking is bad but if a company is in the situation of stable and getting profitable, can any change help company making more profit while it is in fully use of capital and productivity? What would happen if the change could be a wrong move? Theory and practical experience still have a gap between. Challenge is really encouraged but leaders should be careful when applying it in reality.
