The international coffee agreement 2007
The International Coffee Agreement 2007, the seventh Agreement since 1962, was agreed by the 77 Members of the International Coffee Council, meeting in London on 28 September 2007. It was formally adopted by the Council through Resolution 431 and entered into force definitively on 2 February 2011.

Coffee prices have drifted downwards since the end of August 2017, though prices in October were fairly stable with a drop at the end of the month.
The Arabica group indicators all showed declining trends in October despite a small rise in the first week of the month.
While Brazil’s exports declined by 8.8% to 31.58 million bags in coffee year 2016/17, its production increased by 9.2% to 55 million bags in crop year 2016/17.
