The Barbie Effect

Many researches have shown that if Barbie was alive, she would need to walk on all fours to support her proportions. It is said that she would be approximately 2 meters high with a waistline of 45 cm and a breast size of 100 cm. These numbers may seem doubtful, since academics and critics still does not have a common opinion on this topic, however there is one belief many of them are unanimous in – Barbie poses a serious threat to girls’ physical and emotional development.
