Water covers over 70% of the Earths surface and is a very important resource for people and environment. Water pollution affects drinking water, rivers, lakes and oceans all over the world. Mostly pollution is caused by human activities. Although natural catastrophes as earth quakes, volcanoes, storms cause minor changes in water quality. The situation is prety bad . In Western Europe about 5% of the population are drinking polluted water, but in Eastern Europe at least two times more. We are the window between both of them. So what is the situation in our Daugava, Bay of Rīga and Baltic Sea?…
