The Human Genome Project

The opinion that I had from the start of this assignment has not changed at all. I still feel that it is a disservice to let some people profit, disproportionately, from a research project that was instituted to help find the answers to the DNA mystery.
The Human Genome Project was conceived to help us find out how to diagnose, and discover a cure to any and all of the diseases that plague mankind. The premise being that all of the scientists involved would share, freely, their information with each other. …
