Images of Latvia

Many people think of Latvia and immediately think of Riga. The Monument of Freedom in Riga is an example of a characteristic image of Latvia, because it stands for the history of our country. The three stars in the statue’s hands symbolize three historical regions of Latvia – Kurzeme, Vidzeme and Latgale.
