Creeping slowly down the stairs I could see my own reflection in the candle I held ever so slowly ever so silently I moved forward. I could feel the stone steps below my feet and hear the barking of the hounds in the distance. I knew someone was in the castle. It was now a matter of weather the intruder was friend or foe.
