§Product Strategy:
-Description: Garden Grill is a fast food restaurant that specializes in low-fat healthy foods. Our purpose is to serve health-conscious customers that lack the time to prepare a healthy meal for their families. Unlike our competitors such as Burger King, or McDonald's, our goal is to give consumers a healthy alternative when eating out.
§Promotion Strategy:
-Fliers: To promote our restaurant, we will distribute fliers around university campuses, supermarkets, schools, and business areas.
-Newspaper: We will advertise our Garden Grill specials in local papers such as "The Miami Herald" and " El Nuevo Herald". For example, Garden Grill will offer 15% off any lunch item coupon and a buy 1 get one free entrée before 8/1/2002.
-Direct Mailing: To reach those customers that particularly fit our demographic target market, we will use direct mailings to send coupons and fliers to promote the Garden Grill.
-Opening Day Promotions: On our opening day, and for the first few weeks of opening, Garden Grill will offer varied items from our menu at promotional prices, or free, in order to attract new customers.
