The religion called Christianity proclaims to be the voice of Jesus and God, the salvation of sins and of an after life. The church is refereed to as the body of Christ and has taken on the responsibility of spreading the word of the lord Jesus Christ. Although the different strands have been at odds for most of the history of the Christian church
The differences between Catholic and Protestant faiths is evident, time, globalisation and secularization has had an impact on all Christian faiths including Catholic and Protestant faiths. Beginning with the split brought about by Martin Luther when he took a stand against the corruption of the catholic church, on to the present day of priests and ministers, where they are less in opposition. If things continue as they are then priests and ministers will grow together and work together towards the good of Christianity.
