Conclusion
The need for change is part of any merger/acquisition. This situation is no different. The employees need to be willing to work with each other. They need to understand each other. The single, most effective way to help employees through the change is communication: communication between employees, between managers, and within the organization.
The data collected from the seven employees leads to the conclusion there will be many challenges faced if each employee wants to work together as a team. However, it is also believed that this paper illustrates a good understanding of what satisfies and motivates employees and the theories chosen to keep them motivated through the impending change. Without this understanding a team would not have what it takes to overcome the challenges that a merger/acquisition brings.
