History

Modern humans have lived in the region of South Africa for over 100000 years. The great majority of inhabitant were different African tribes. In 1652, the Dutch started to occupied SA territory and made it to the Connolly. In 1795, the British occupied the Cape as a strategy base, controlling the sea route to the East. Only in 1933 South Africa became independent from Great Britain.
