It is necessary to add two examples from the historical point of view, firstly, “Arthur refers to his fellow soldiers as Knights, but the concept of Knights did not come about until the Middle Ages”, And, secondly, the Roman legion withdrew from England in 410 AD, but it was in 467 AD in the movie. It is very sad that there are such inaccuracies, but anyway the movie gives an insight into the cruel and brutal invasions that England suffered from.
In conclusion I would like to say that I liked the movie despite all the inaccuracies and historical mistakes. But I prefer the text “Who are the British”, because it gives more details and they are more believable. The text also gives an insight into a longer time period as the movie. I like history very much and I did not know much about history of England. It is certainly true that I know much more now after I have watched the movie “King Arthur” and read the text “Who are the British”.
