At the age of three, children start Preschool. When they are six or seven years old, they start Primary school. Primary school’s education is obligatory. In Primary school there are nine classes. After the sixth class children have two tests: in Maths and Latvian.
Then at the end of ninth class pupils have four tests and two exams. It is very important to pass them good, because the marks are important if you want to study in Secondary school.
Usually teenagers have sixteen when they start Secondary school or go to Technical schools.…
