After the first visual examination of The Bill of Rights determining and prohibiting basic human rights in United States and Constitution of Latvia it is clear that Latvian Constitution is longer, to be more precise Chapter 8, that deals with basic human rights has 27 paragraphs, whereas The Bill of Rights has only ten Amendments. More detailed investigation shows that there are some additional basic human rights in Constitution of Latvia, that are not included in The Bill of Rights, however, there are also rights that are not present in Constitution of Latvia, but are indicated in The Bill of Rights. …
