The competition resolution of conflict is a resolution that involves a winner and a loser. The winner in this conflict must be very sure of the stand. They have to make sure that they have investigated every avenue possible and that their decision is definitely the best decision for the entire team. They must be able to show that their way is the best way. The stand that they make in their decision must convince the other side so everyone feels confident that winner's point of view on that certain subject is the correct one..
The resolution of a conflict with comprise is one of the best approaches to conflict resolution to conflicts in a team environment. If a middle ground can be found by the two sides of a conflict this would be the best. If there is a middle ground both sides would be winners. There would also be no resentment on either side. Sometimes in a team environment the middle ground may be the best resolution for the work of the team and improve the outcome of the project.
